Films can be categorized in to ratings this is usually to inform there may be some sensitive content which is not suitable for younger ages.Examples of ratings include:
U- Suitable for all
PG- Parental Guidance
12- Suitable for 12 and over
15- Suitable for 15 and over
18- Suitable only for adults
When films are given a rating this decision can change as some argue the sensitivity of the film and if the content meets the criteria of that age rating may mean its needs to be moved up or down.
