Location Reece

When it came to finding our location we were quite restricted due to us wanting to achieve dark lighting with as little natural light as possible.  After testing a couple of locations we decided to actually achieve what we wanted we would have to set up our own studio. Therefore in the art room we gathered a our props and set out a desk for the main character using borders around to block any natural light. With the help of Ryan he helped us set up professional lighting that way it made sure the picture wasn't so grainy. For example the use of a dado light we got he subtle lighting on some of the props we wanted.
We also filmed in another location, in which we used parallel editing to change locations back and forth. Our other location was a woodland area this was perfect for getting shots of the young girl with her mother which fits in with our logline. The space also meant the set up was easier with less limited space making it easier to film.
